“In a time when the world feels overwhelming, Cher has given us the opportunity to feel in control and organized. Cher has provided the motivation to help us clear out spaces while still being compassionate about the things we needed to hold onto.”
~ Caitlin, Boston
Hi, I'm Cher!
I provide compassionate and empathetic decluttering and organizing for the busy and overwhelmed home. Much of my work is spent helping folks with ADHD and other executive function challenges and those who are transitioning to a new phase in their lives. From childhood, I have been a helper. My life’s experience parallels many of the challenges my clients face, making me a great fit for those seeking support from someone who has been there.
A few words on clutter:
Clutter is created by having an excess amount of stuff without proper systems and/or enough space to contain it. Stuff comes in but nothing goes out. Deferred piles get bigger and more overwhelming. Our own unhelpful thoughts prevent us from making decisions; how many times have you thought, I spent good money on that, it will fit someday, I might need it, I could sell it? Consider the following: Deferring decisions (I need to go through that someday), moving things from one place to another or trying to squeeze stuff that exceeds space are unviable and unsustainable options. The money is gone. You can dress the future version of yourself according to what you like then. Trust that you’ll have the resources to provide for yourself if you do need it down the line. Is your time more valuable than the potential money you could earn? Additionally, sometimes depression, anxiety and ADHD can make it difficult to get started. I understand. Sometimes having another person present can get us going and hold us accountable. I will be a steadfast accountability partner keeping you motivated and supported throughout our sessions to help achieve more of your goals.
"I didn’t realize just how much I needed your service. Thank you."

My ideal client has already identified their why: They want to have their friends over. They are gearing up to move. They don’t want to leave the work to loved ones. They are preparing to part ways with a partner or spouse. They want to spend less time managing their stuff and spend more time on things they value more. My ideal client is ready and committed: They trust the process and are ready to consistently show up and do the work (and will trust and allow me do my work).
My process entails decluttering first- we’ll sort through and decide what to donate, recycle, repurpose, discard or keep. After decluttering, we’ll create organizational systems that will work for you and find a place for your things. I like to utilize what existing organizing supplies and storage solutions you have rather than immediately resorting to purchasing additional materials. At the end, I’ll help get the trash and recycling we have generated during the session out to your bins. I’ll also take away the donations we have generated.
Maintenance: I understand that things ebb and flow. I offer maintenance visits to reset systems and tidy up if life has gotten in the way of keeping up.
